Can someone help me figure out how to grow them? I tried last yr. planting the bulbs I ordered, but after 6 months they hadn't changed. Any suggestions? Thanks

A shallot is a form of multiplying onion (cepa var. aggregatum,) http://gardening.about.com/od/... They do best in most areas planted around the time of first frost altho they can be planted in early spring). Most common problem is setting the bulbs too deep.
