@Horntoad is down in that neck of the woods, but I bet he already knows about this sale and has plans to attend.

Well, I knew they have a plant sale in the spring and fall, but I forgot about this one until Betsy reminded me. I'm never really impressed with their sale, but I just can't keep myself away. I am only about 1/2 mile (as the crow flies) from the Master Gardeners Test Site, where it was held this year.

Hi Jay,

We were in your neck of the woods yesterday; my friend and I visited the TJMaxx in Central Mall.
Which nurseries in Mid-county do you recommend?

I don't go to nursery's to often. I can only think of two, Cooks on Nederland Ave., and Spell's on 27th street, between Ave. H and Hwy 365. Spell's is larger than Cooks.

I wished I'd have opened this sooner. We have been known to drive the distance just to look at plants.

Thanks, Jay. I put this on my calender. Do you know if the plant sale area is handicap accessible by chance?

Well, it's scheduled to be held at the Master Gardener Test Garden, so the walkways are just lawn. But it seemed fairly firm and even this weekend.
Here is a map of the site. The parking area is the large square parking area at the lower part of the map, not the one on the left where the cars are.

Editing this to say that I believe the spring sale will be held in the hanger about 300 yards away on the same street and it is all paved.
