I just noticed how very different the homepage looks now! Blinking

I thought it was really perfect how it was before, now the banner is kind of cut with a little piece glued on at the end.
The menu on the left side takes a lot of space and was perfectly placed before right under the banner.
Oh well.. I guess I'll get used to it... Rolling my eyes.

Myriam, that is my thinking. That I guess I will get used it it. But everyone here at the Site Talk Forum loves it. So you and I will just have to live with it even though I really loved it the way it was.

Dave, I know you need to do it because of all the modern devices, None of which I use. I am just an old fashioned (and old) fuddy-duddy. But by moving the random plant and random ideas boxes back to the far right where they used to be really helps me like this new look. Because I agree with who ever posted that they really liked them there. Plus it makes it look more like the old familiar layout to me. The rest I will just get used to.

Oh I really do love the new larger type. Easier to see! Thumbs up

Getting used to the new look. I guess after a few days it will start to look familiar.

@Dave, In this thread the photos were loaded so as to appear side by side. They display vertically instead which is new behavior. This may have already been discussed, if so my apologies.

The db_photo tag has never been able to float side by side like the lightbox tag, although it's something I've looked at.

The way to get a db_photo box to float is to attach an attribute to it, like 'db_photo="right" and that will force it to float to the right of the other stuff. I edited your post linked above to show you what I mean.

It works on the lightbox tag, too.

With our new layout work I'm planning on doing some major renovating of the db_photo tag to make the box more versatile. It's a great feature that we'll enjoy even more in the future.

I agree It's just second nature now and I'm honestly having trouble remembering what it was like before. As to what you have in store for us...I can't wait to see.

Sorry for my late reply!
Thanks Hetty for the link, I had no idea there was a thread going on about the new layout! I've gone through that now.

My banner looks fixed now, running all the way through, it is beautiful, thank Dave! Smiling
I think I'm already starting to like the new looks....only still have to get used to the menu being on the left side though.. Rolling my eyes.
