This is going to sound like a dumb comment, but I have never seen a Daylily bloom south of Kentucky other than twenty years ago when I visited Marietta Gardens and Iron Gate . Not many big edges around back then. So, keep that in mind....
I did not know edges hung up in the south. I thought it was a northern thing that happened when we try to grow southern plants, or plants with big edges, because we often have very cold nights during bloom.
What conditions cause hanging up in the south? You don't have nights in the low 40's do you? Fred, you mention it will get better on rebloom....?
