The flower pot lady greeted us at the front door. My daughter, sister and friend enjoyed the rocking chairs while I checked over the plant lists.

Here are three that I got this year. They were all small when I got them. Dancing on Ice was tiny, but it finally bloomed. She said that normally it makes small fans. If I had known just how small, I wouldn't have bought it.

I have known both Charles and Heidi for years and I can't say enough wonderful things about them! BrownsFerry Garden is like going to Disney World to me.... The happiest place on earth! Lol. As for my favorite that would have to be the one they introduced named after me!! Donna Lynne's Delight

Charles and Heidi were guests of our daylily club on March 18th. I went to lunch with them when they arrived in Oklahoma City and had a great visit about hybridizing. Unfortunately Ashton was not able to be there since Charles shared lots of recent experience that he can learn from. You know how things are, he may pay more attention to Charles Douglas than his dad when it comes to daylilies. I like the RFK dips from Heidi, but I have lots of RFK seedlings under evaluation and some intros coming out soon so that may influence me a little that I am working with the same parent plant.

I like the look of Thelma Douglas. Any reports on that one?

I bought Thelma Douglas last year at an auction because they are constantly sold out at the garden because everyone LOVES it. I do know that Charles has used it a lot in his Hybridizing program to. It is a beautiful Daylily and I really love the thick heavy bloom because it stands up in this heat we have here in SC. I will be sure to post pics of mine when it blooms this year
