I was getting ready to add an entry from the database to my plant list when I noticed that the photos actually look like two different plants. Three of the four photos look like the same plant, but the fourth one looks totally different than the other three. It is the unique fourth photo that actually looks like the same plant that I have. I didn't see anything to pick on the entry itself for this type of thing other than to post a comment, and it looks like comments are more for discussing the plant not for questioning the entry. Who should I contact about re-review? Thanks, Terri

What you're doing is perfect. Just post the name of the plant here Terry and we'll look it over.
If you prefer to tree-mail then Calif_Sue, zuzu, KentPfeiffer or myself.

Also, if you want to start a discussion on a particular photo, enlarge it and then scroll down to start the thread.conversation. It gets put into the Plant Database Forum where it will be noticed by others as well as admin. Comments or questions in the entry itself aren't seen unless someone is scrolling and looking at the latest comments added or they happen to open the entry.

Ok, thanks. The question I had was on a hydrangea - 'Fuji Waterfall'. Three of the photos look like a pink mop head and the other photo looks like a white lace cap. The hydrangea I have that was labeled 'Fuji Waterfall' looks like the photo of the white lace cap.

OK, since the white lace cap one comes from a hydrangea nursery, sounds like that's the correct one. I'll just move Paul's images.

Thanks! I added it to my plant list.

I really like the plant database and personal plant list features on ATP. All my attempts at keeping track of plant purchases and garden inventory are now being done exclusively with Quicken and ATP's personal plant list feature.

I'm not sure if anyone else would be interested in this idea - I was thinking it would be nice to be able to attach a few photos to the category. I've mainly categorized my plant lists by garden area. If I could attach photos, I could do a few overview shots of the garden to display before the itemized lists of plants that are contained in that particular garden area. If not, I think I can do something similar with a blog entry for each of the garden areas and a hyperlink to that part of my plant list. That approach though wouldn't be as nice as a tabular click from the category list because you'd have to scroll through blog entries to get to the specific garden area. Anyway, just something to throw out there...

That sounds like a good use for the Multi-Plant Photos feature.

Not familar with that feature yet - I'll look for it. Thanks for suggesting it.

Ok - I spent some time getting familiar with the multi plant photo feature - should do the trick...
