I do not hesitate to purchase seeds from Rich when he has a cross that interests me. Excellent seller of seeds and plants!

Over the past few years Rich has sent sdlgs here for zone 4 testing before introduction. A few of my favorites are...

Pawprints on My Heart (2011) wonderful dormant early blooming bicolor spider, measures 4:1 here. Well branched and loaded with buds. Nice to have a lavender as one of the first blooming in the garden.



Waggle Dance (2013) sev, great color and plant with 4 way branching and budcount in the 20's. Flowers held up nice to weather and opened even on the cooler mornings.



Incense and Peppermints (2013) registered at 7" but looks so much bigger in the garden. A bud builder with a long bloom season and fun attitude. Gorgeous red patterned bloom on a super plant.




Rorschach Test (2014) Gorgeous! Big light yellow/gold with dark eye and applique on both petals and sepals, great branching/budcount.

I've won a few seed auctions on LA from a few different sellers. Rich's seeds always sprout first! I have to wonder what he does to make that happen. It's consistently fast germination! He's also got an amazing amount of cultivars for his seed crosses. I find myself always watching his seed listings. His seeds do tend to shoot up in price during many of his auctions, so he appears to be a popular seller. He also ships seeds out pronto! Wished I lived next door to him!

Rich does grow a fantastic variety of the newest cultivars, wish I lived next door, too ! He is about 3 1/2 hours south of me... His garden will be on tour again for our 2015 Regional, I think it was in '07... or maybe '09, the last time. So many daylilies to see... the bus whistle called us away much to soon.
