RpR, I use the "Weather Underground" most of the time it is pretty accurate. I can open several taps so I know what the weather conditions are like where the kids live and my friends. https://www.wunderground.com/w...

Not bad here today, 34 F and mostly cloudy, few peeks of sun.

We had about 2-3 inches here; I usually look at the picnic table to see how much snow we had and that only had a dusting so when I went out and there was a lot more than I thought, I dragged out the snow blower.

Took me two hours to finish, including shovel clean-up but I must be used to the cold as that part I never thought about once. I tip my hat to you.

As Caroline said the snow has come, again, we got at most two inches of snow dust.
2 degrees right now with a brisk wind.
The weather talking head was braying we would get light and fluffy yesterday, we got maybe 1 inch of snow dust yesterday.
At least this resembles real winter we used to have.

I just came in from blowing and had to take a break my finger tips on my right hand were burning too hard, although it was getting less which does not always mean they are warming up.
The longest finger on my hand burnt like an sob when I took my glove off.

Single digit and sub-zero for the next 7 days, or so the talking head says.
Forecast for here was 5 to 6 inches by this time today what load of bollocks. I tip my hat to you.

We had 5-6" with blowing snow, cleaned 4 driveways, had to come in and switch gloves, the cold was going right through my first set of gloves.

We only got an inch or less last night, and the snow didn't really start here until late afternoon... cleanup tomorrow!

Well it came and most went away already.
It is 35F right now and dark cloudy outside; it is snowing North West of here and as my window looks that direction it look snow grey miles away but radar say it is not coming here.

I should have gone out and finished relocating some leaf bags to protect Sharons new bushes but I took out the new faucet I put in a week ago and put a different new one in .
Bought it from Wayfair, and it is rated at 2.2 gallons verse the pathetic 1.5 of the other one.

We will take that one back to Home Depot; I also found out that the Brushed Oiled Bronze look faucets seem to be going away. -- (One place I called that also sells whole sale, said they were all gone and probably not be available again.)
If you ever buy some furnishing you like, BUT TWO, because the crap you do not like will be around till hell freezes over the but good stuff is here today and gone by the end of the day. Grumbling I tip my hat to you.

No it was good old fashioned thread valve and nut.
The pathetic sprayer used on of the new pushin type -- (I like the old ones held with a clip pin).

The flow on the new, gereric brand, vs the Moen piece of junk, is far better but then the specs. said it flowed more. -- (I may pay far, far more attention to plumbing stuff at atique shops in the future.)
Finding the high flow, or what the call high flow, nowadays, there is not much choice out there.

The only good thing about the Moen, and bad about the new one is where the moen came with a wrench to fasten the faucet, the new one has a large brass nut with fins, I am guessing to hammer it on and off. (I hammered tight with a monkey wrench)
Even with the sink drains removed it was hard for me to get under the sink, getting my left hand in was a case of forcing a two-inch tbick palm through a one and one-half inch gap but I had towels on the edge of cabinet so to my surprise, my back did not object at all.

It is 21F dark and , liar pants foreast, was drizzling now lightly snowing so I put Ice Melt all around the house and stairs that the Mailman uses.

Well the snow has come like it did in the old days; 12 inches plus or minus depending on exact location.
Now I remember deep snow as a youth but then when you are five to five and one-half inches tall, snow can seem a lot deeper I remeber when I jumped off of our roof, only nine or so feet high, Dad said - are you nuts, lucky you did not break a leg .

Waay back when I was in grade school, fifth or sixth grade, I went to a Lutheran School and they had a manager sceen for Christmas, well snow was deep so we would climb up on the roof with straw bales and jump off the other side.
Miss Wandel , came walking out, a good two hundred plus feet from the school and was not happy at all, telling us boys to come in right now.
It seems recess had ended a goodly bit earlier. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

I just sent a note to a gent in Pennsylvania who worked on a MV Agusta motor cycle I had sold to a gent in Florida (to make a long story short, I sent the title to the gent in Pennsylvania as the buyer seemed to have vanished) we have sent notes back and forth for ten years since I sold it.

I wished him a Orthodox Merry Christmas , saying technically I was not late.
He wrote back "You found a loop hole, well , I have been looking for a reason to extend the season, Merry Christmas."
Merry Christmas Eve, and there are only 12 days after today. Thumbs up Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling

A - proper - winter, much needed after the pissant ones we have had for too many recently.

It is supposed to get above freezing for a day or so next week and that sucks the bag as we used to say back when groovy was common verbage.
Wet semi-frozen ice is the curse of winter warm days, making putting down ice melt more of a curse , than blessing.
It is Nineteen here at Two Thirty P.M. just went shopping for a new door handle for the one the renter destroyed when it got frozen up.
Surprisingly , T.J. Maxx, Tuesday Morning and other such store have little to zero Christmas Candy/cookies and such (T.J.'s beauty section was 70 percent empty for hair care and such)

Kind of sad as I like to go shopping after Christmas for such items on sale.
There were a lot op people out shopping though, if I had my car, I would have gone shopping the days it was very cold with heavy snow as most people up here are now wussies when it comes to real winter weather. 😲

Have a Merry Orthodox & Coptic Christmas. I tip my hat to you.

Nine months and 24 days till Christmas; Easter and Lent related fish frys are about to start, tis the season to be jolly. I tip my hat to you.

The lion wasn't around here today - the weather was very "meh" with no new snow from overnight, overcast skies, no wind, and temp in the mid 30s.

AHHHH, it is a BEAUTIFUL bright 9 degrees this morning with a 15 mp wind.

Did some weather checking online and up in the NorthWest corner by Theif River Falls, a comapratively large town in a area where a town of 1,000 people is rare, it is 3 degrees.
Now go down to the SouthEast Corner by LaCrosse , a diagonal 500 miles, or there abouts, it is a balmy 17 degrees, jacket weather.

Playing Christmas Music, German at the moment, for probably the last time as next week temp. hit approx. average and it is above freezing all week.
The snow has come for the last time this ... season, see it again in December.
HAPPY ST.PATRICKS DAY Thumbs up Thumbs up Thumbs up
