Trying to ID a Cissus with round leaves, not the grape leaf shaped leaves. It's not rotundifolia, either. The Cissus in the foreground of the photo has smaller segments, than the Cissus quadrangularis behind it. The leaves are different than the quad's (seen at the far right).

It appears that Cissus quadrangularis has that shape leaf, maybe on younger stems?

Oh, dear. My friend paid quite a bit, I'm sure, for a "different" Cissus than the one we both have. I know there's over 300 known Cissus varieties. I'll watch this new one and hope its leaves don't change. Thanks Janet!

My first thought was possibly the juvenile form of C. quadrangularis too. I hope it turns out to be a different Cissus if your friend spent a lot of money expecting something else.

Me too. Thanks for looking at it. I'll keep an eye on it and see if the leaves change.
