As a collector of the rare, the unusual, and the hard to find and a hybridizer, I’m always on the lookout for the best way to label and catalog my inventory of seeds and plants as well as the data I collect. Over the years I’ve auditioned various methods, but I finally have evolved a system that is easy to maintain and extremely flexible.

I have used laser printed labels for some years, they always look really good. However, I found it inconvenient to print only one label. You can print one label and run the same sheet through the printer for your next label and so on.

I ended up buying a label printer that prints one label at a time. Very convenient.

The DesignPro software can do that .. what's neat about it is when ready to print you can tell the software where to start printing the labels under Options so you're not stuck with partially used label sheets.
