Thread OP

Do you cover your hens and chicks during the winter? The ones outside are planted in a ceramic birdbath, and thrive during the summer. Should these be mulched etc?

I do not cover my semps for winter. Most here do not cover them.

What are your growing condition like? Snow cover, rain, dry, warm?
