Hi Evan.
My SIL sent it to me this last summer. So far it seems to be handling our very wet cold weather. I do grow it in full sun, in a very sandy loam with lots of chicken grit for top dressing.
I hope it will make it through our winter and spring, as it is almost none stop rain, freezing and thawing, and occasional small amounts of snow.
It had no trouble at all in our drought summer months in full sun, in fact it's color deepened and it started growing.
I think if I get seeds or offsets from it I will plant in the same sandy loam, but with lots of chicken grit mixed into the soil, then top dress with more chicken grit.
