Hi Evan.
My SIL sent it to me this last summer. So far it seems to be handling our very wet cold weather. I do grow it in full sun, in a very sandy loam with lots of chicken grit for top dressing.
I hope it will make it through our winter and spring, as it is almost none stop rain, freezing and thawing, and occasional small amounts of snow.
It had no trouble at all in our drought summer months in full sun, in fact it's color deepened and it started growing.

I think if I get seeds or offsets from it I will plant in the same sandy loam, but with lots of chicken grit mixed into the soil, then top dress with more chicken grit.

Thank you so much Marilyn.
I hope we have many members here at ATP giving this plant a try, whether from a purchased plant, or seed propagation.
It would benefit all of us to understand what conditions this plant will thrive under.

Very nice one...
Searching for seeds now, found a seller in Canada.
Marilyn, the site you posted no longer has these on stock... :(

Sorry Calin, since others have posted that they are available through NARGS, member seed swap and now considering joining the group. They have a show here in Denver which could be another resource. I know I can buy the plants locally too.

Now I am getting excited for spring and a "Buki" run on the nurseries. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing
