I guess art really ain't the issue here.

I've really enjoyed looking through your prolific and well done works. Do we all need to be Monet's and die before anyone pays attention?

Picasso was great at self promotion and was one of the few who saw results in his lifetime....; He knew how to bamboozle and shmooze like Andy Warhol..............?

So many of us artists leving so much beauty behind. It seems many of most of our works are destined for a thrift store someday...

Oh well,.........someone somewhere will say somebody real painted this and its an original!

The BIG names in art play a political game and bamboozle as you said, it's a different culture.
Fame doesnt find artists who dont go after it.
There are millions of highly talented artists whose work doesnt see the big stage

Its likely because they just can't get interested in bamboozling with the bamboozlers and the politics crap. Its hard for some to ACT interested in folk they find pretentious or tedious regardless of what they have or who they are...

There are a couple of internationally known artists living here.They are fantastic designers and play the major gallery game very well.Thats where patrons are who pay hundreds of thousands for their work.The work has to be worthy in the first place or commissions wont be there for these artists.
Developing a reputation is 90% of the job.This also means making connections and having a high profile portfolio.

You really do have to be that person to swim that channel. Like politicians... I was involved for a few years, introduced and played the game. I didn't have what it took. There is a lot of glamour in the shows, parties, and being in the public, the behind of scenes can be really ugly when you really get to know some of the players and what other then art is expected to stay there...

Back to the peaceful gardens and creating art when compelled or commissioned! I fear I will never be globally glorious!

Its always amusing when gallery directors find a fake,the world of painting isnt as clear to me as the sculptural artists here.

I made a lot of money at one point making jewelry...Thats what helped me start my little gallery. I still pick up the tools and make a little here and then. Some of it is costumey and some have an architectural sculpturism. I need to go hit the few shops I no longer have any left in and refill my space...

That site is incredible and has been saved to favorites! That is exactly the type ingenuity orchestrated with clean assembly I love to see in that type work. It seems really Steampunk Gothic. LOVE IT!

Those photos of those incredible Bettas (Siamese Fighting Fish) and Goldfish were pretty incredible too. The fish themselves were incredible.
