I wish ..I wish...we could grow lilies. Everyone's blooms are so pretty.
The deer eat and they must really like because nothing deters.

I appreciate the beautiful photos. Thank you!

Maybe it's the dark maroon markings on the Cathedral Window that match the maroon markings on Forever Susan.

Arlene, looks like sun on the fern. Does it do well? It sure looks happy.

Thanks, Jeanie. The sun was too bright to take the photo.

Yes, almost full sun for the fern and yet it thrives.

I planted a ghost and a painted lady (??) in a shady spot but kept staring at a spot that would be perfect the entire time I dug that hole. Both are thriving, but I never notice them.
I may just try that spot with a hardier variety

We have several large ghost ferns that are now in sun due to the removal of ugly, old spruces, which used to provide enough shade for them to thrive. Now they're in full sun. I wish I had more shade but storms and the 50+ year old spruces leave me wishing, not with shade.

Thanks. This was also the year the hydrangeas' buds froze so it's even less shade for the poor ferns.
