There are hundreds of cultivars to choose from, most are easy to find; others are more difficult. Plant trading is a wonderful way to increase your collection. It really does become addictive to some of us.

I learned that I could have left my birdbath planter out this winter..and I might have to amend the soil. Enjoyed your article.

Thank you Sandi.
I have two bird baths that I leave out in the winter weather. I haven't used them for planting though. I've been providing water for the birds. : )
Did you see the one that Calif_Sue posted? Here's the link to the thread, it's half way down the thread, post #115611 http://cubits.org/sedumandsempervivum/thread/view/8914/
Would love to see any pictures you have. I have already found so many ideas on what everyone else has done. This is going to be a very busy Spring & Summer. Thumbs up

The only pic I have is one when I entered it last fall in a flower show (on a whim) and it won Princess of the Show. Might come off a little braggy.... Maybe I can post one when it comes back from the winter blahs!

Show us that picture Sandi. Better yet, add it to the Container Database. Thumbs up http://cubits.org/sedumandsempervivum/db/containers/browse.p...
Can't wait to see it. I may have to use one of my birdbaths. Big Grin
