Coralberry is a lovely semi-evergreen shrub suitable both for house foundation plantings and for naturalization.

Very pretty and useful plant, I'd say. And in a large grouping like that, it is very pretty. That last picture reminded me of beautyberry, another wonderful plant.

Nicely done!

Thank you Everyone, it does resemble Beautyberry in some ways, but it is a much smaller shrub and requires very little water. Smiling

The first two pictures are of the Wildscape where I volunteer. We have raised and planted hundreds of Coralberry plants to beautify the the woods and also to stop erosion, which this plant does very well. Smiling

@canadanna -- where did you find it? I'd love to add it to my yard.

I wish this beautiful shrub would be available here in Iceland. According to information on the internet it is very difficult to grow from seed. We have a close relative, Snowberry - Symphoricarpos albus which is a common very hardy shrub. This is the first time I learn about Coralberry. Thanks for introducing this beauty to me. Green Grin!

You are welcome, I have never grown it from seed, but it is easy to grow from cuttings. Smiling
