Thumbs up I like that first one a lot! Beautiful. I like all of mine regardless of how the blooms look. Would be hard for me to "cut" any of them!

I guess I should read more closely. I didn't catch the "double" word on Cindy's post. Yes, the cristate's are what have my eye ! That kind of tissue growth is so intriguing to me ! but, alas, I'm only working with Tets. So Greetings Earthlings doesn't help me much. I do love the color contrast in the flower though !

Sorry to those in this thread, we are getting a bit off topic... The bloom in your image does show some small, thin ridges. I've seen images of HBHMB showing very light relief and then others showing none. If you are interested in working with sculpted forms you could try crossing to a sculpted form showing more pronounced relief to see if that would help bring out the sculpting....and maybe keep the beautiful wide ruffled petals of HBHMB.

I just wanted to mention that Becky started me on a long road by mentioning the song What Does the Fox Say". I'd never heard of it before. Neither had my cooler/hipper friends. I'm usually the last to find out about trends, so it was neat to be able to know about something they didn't. Now my DH and I are "with it" . All because of the knowledgeable people on a daylily forum......Thanks......Maryl (P.S.) I find the tune remarkably catchy.

Yesterday I saw a preview (I think -- didn't pay much attention until I heard the song) of Glee, and they were doing the song!

Maryl - Oh! Don't blame me! It started with Dormantsrule who posted the link first. I had never seen it either. But I love the song and it has a catchy tune. It's so funny because the brothers did it as a joke and it is instead a hit! Too funny!

They have other videos on YouTube, too. (Some are a bit obscene. They are comedians from Norway, so probably anything goes.)

For Halloween, the entire elementary school I work at (about 600 kids) all danced to Pump Up the Pumpkin and also Thriller by Michael Jackson. The entire student body was out on the P.E. concrete court dancing and singing to those two songs. It was video taped and played on the local news. Students ranged from 3 years old to 12 years old. And they did it in sync! It was so much fun! So now ... I think we need to do "What Does the Fox Say?" next Halloween! LOL!

Did you see the video showing what teenagers thought about the Fox song when they first saw it? It's so funny!:

And be sure to see the Dancing with the Stars dance moves with the guest appearance by the 2 brothers:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

and the flash mob in Norway:

It is a riot!

Me too and I wish GE was a foot taller and larger bloom.
