Ever bend down too close to an agave and realize that you like your eyesight better than your plants? Although houseplants are great, it's hardly worth a terminal spine to the retina!

I admit that I get way more vicious with my agave. I take a razor knife and I slice off ALL the spines..........both sides of the "leaves" and the top one. I tell people that I "de-bark and de-bite" them.

Well, I like the looks of the Christmas bulbs (maybe even Easter eggs or miniature pumpkins) depending on the season but I'll come down on your side AnnaZ.

I take the nail clippers to mine. Just nipping the tips and it really doesn't harm or scar the appearance.

Been skewered more than once and it is FUN to retaliate. lol

I don't have any "dangerous" plants, but do have hundreds of wine corks if anyone is in need of any.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
