I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown

This banner is so astoundingly calm-making, peaceful and mesmerizing that I almost couldn't make it here to comment .... profoundly pictured, dormantsrule! Group hug

Living here in a remote part of the county my home place is surrounded by fields of grains each year. Usually these fields are planted in corn or soy beans, but occasionally we get rye or wheat nearby. This probably does not appeal to most people, but there is something serene, calming and peaceful to be near a field of ripening wheat. And I am even more appreciative of the fragrance of newly baled straw in late June or early July. I like having a few bales on hand for animal bedding and mulching.

I am thankful for a unique banner from dormantsrule! Thumbs up Nice job!

I have lots of wheat fields around me, and I think they are gorgeous. I love them when they are green, and when they dry out. With a slight breeze blowing over the top, it looks like an ocean. I find it really peaceful. My sister used green wheat for her bouquet when she got married, instead of flowers! I loved it!

Lovely banner -- amber waves of grain. Thanks so much.
