Don't add this new Tulip plant that I just submitted.....

Add a new plant

Proposed by Marilyn

Genus: Tulipa
Species:
Cultivar: Agnes Andrea
Trade name:
Series:
Common name: Double Early Tulip

Because I just noticed a different spelling of it, but the same plant....

Tulip (Tulipa 'Agnes Andreae')

Tulip (Tulipa 'Agnes Andrea')

I'll add any details to this one 'Agnes Andreae'.

Thanks and sorry about that!

Marilyn

It doesn't say for sure on their profile page, but I think @eclayne might handle the tulipa entries. Let's see. Smiling

Thanks Chelle! I tip my hat to you. Thumbs up

I thought my post was going directly to the db mods and not here. *Blush*

It was in the "Ask a Question" forum and I moved it to the Plants Database forum. This is exactly the right place for this kind of message. Thumbs up

I wasn't sure who to contact, so I clicked onto the "Contact Us" link.

The next times I need to make a correction on something I submitted to the db, I'll do it here in the Plant Database forum (and hope for the db mods to take care of it). Thumbs up

Yep, this is the place. Everyone who watches the DB keeps tabs on this forum. Tulips, by the way, have no moderator which means the admins handle the proposals for it. That's @Calif_Sue, @zuzu, @eclayne and @KentPfeiffer.

I agree This is definitely the forum to post to. If you ever wonder who the moderator of a database is there are a few paths. The important thing to remember is the moderator(s) is listed on the main page for that particular plant.

For example if you have a DB entry open, click on the hyperlink in the title line at the top of the page. For Clematis (Clematis texensis 'Duchess of Albany'), click The Clematis Database. This takes you to the main Clematis page at the top of which is the title The Clematis Database, moderated by Calif_Sue, zuzu.

Here's is the main page of The Tulips Database.

The International Cultivar Registration Authority for Tulipa, K.A.V.B., is constructing a new database web page. Unfortunately the previous database hasn't been available to search for several months now.
