There are a number of active threads about rock gardening in the "regular" gardening forum. It would be great if we had a specialized forum for all things alpine, since we have members interested in this specialized type of gardening.

There are at least three active threads going so far:
The thread "Rock Gardens" in Rock Gardens forum
The thread "Tips on building a DIY rock garden" in Rock Gardens forum
The thread "Alpines and other rock garden dwellers - seeds or shipped plants?" in Rock Gardens forum

They're all brand new, but there does seem to be interest.

I only subscribe to four forums. If there were a Rock/Alpine Gardening forum, I would add it, and, of course, participate. I am an active member of the North American Rock Garden Society\ (NARGS).

I am an amateur rock gardener who might benefit from such a forum.
I am a member of NARGS too, and get much info there,--- although it tends to get a little academic sometimes.

I would put such a forum on my watch list, it would be a learning experience for me.

I vote for a rock/alpine forum too. I'm getting more and more into trying alpine plants.
