The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.

Unless you break off a scape that is going to bloom tomorrow while weedling. Then you are allowed to cry. Whistling Hilarious!

In recent years I have done some of my best crying in the garden.

I the summer of 2004, I cried a lot in the garden because I was going through a divorce after 30 years of marriage. The end was very abussive and violent. The divorce was not granted until July 2005.

The garden was a great friend since it did not say anything and it listened to me while it caressed my whole body and soul.

In 2003, August, my best friend died a rather herific death and my world came to an end. The garden was my crying place. I have cried there, and I have gotten drunk there.

After the death of my brother and beloved Mother, the garden was my chosen place to mourn their death. There was something to drink and the most sacred place to mourn them.

I know that my garden will always be there to comfort me. I cry in my garden. It cries with me.

When I awake in the morning, I pull back my curtains and look at my garden anew and my spirit rises.

Bill Maryott has posted a new picture of another 2014 introduction. And this one is quite yummy -- reminds me of Easter candy!

Oh that's very pretty. I'm not usually drawn to the softer, pastel lilies but that one is very very nice.

Cindy, that is Yazoo Elsie Hintson, showing off her 8" bloom. Planning on putting that with My Cup Overflows if it bloom this season along with Scandinavia. Lots of hope and dreams around here. She along with a few others were put in my seedling bed. Planning on moving them out this spring.

That Maryott intro reminds me of an luscious summery orange/strawberry slushie! Very pretty, and I love that it is so round:)

Gerry, your sadness came through in your message. I hope that now, when you wander through your garden you are able to remember your brother, mother, and friend with warm, happy thoughts of how they spent their time on earth. And I hope smiles replace the tears.

Gerry, Group hug I hope the future will bring more smiles than tears, especially when all those daylilies start blooming. Tears are always followed by laughter and I hope you will enjoy every moment, like it was a gift because it is. Group hug

I agree with Gerry, my garden healed me when it was needed. Plus digging in the dirt feeds my soul.

Oh that newest Maryott is pretty. I too am not normally a pastel person, but that one reminds me of spring (will it ever come???)

Seems like we all need this gardening thing! It is healing and therapeutic plus playing in the dirt makes me forget all my troubles. My mother, (god-rest-her-soul) said I was never happy unless I was playing in the dirt and so it is to this day! LOL.

I'm putting together an order - the soft pastel seedling he has posted isn't listed. I e-mailed to see if it is going to be a fall release.
