Thanks, Debra and Sandi. I love how the colors in a garden look in the fog too, kind of like a secret garden. Smiling

I agree We've only had one day in the last two months that was above freezing and then it was only 33F. With about 2 feet of snow on the ground and it seems like we get a little more each day with temps that are sometimes below -30 F at night and many days in the negative below zero with lots of wind, getting to see your gardens was like a little bit of warm coming through. So I too needed this! Thumbs up

Yes. I hope they survive such an unusual display of weather. Your pictures are so pretty. I like the lattice around the base of the tree... just dresses everything up a little. My husband has used lattice around our house and it looks very nice.

Fred - Your taste in hardscaping and plants is very similar to mine. I really enjoyed the photos you shared. And I LOVE your pond and seating arbor! Sweet! Daylilies, clematis, waterlilies, and impatiens, who could ask for anything more?!!! I will say that I also had Sweet Autumn Clematis covering a very large arbor/small pergola and had to cut it down and dig it up. It just got too large and messy for me to clean up every year, but yours is beautiful!

I can not get over the ice you have had. Yikes! That is insane to see such a thing in your southern location. I hope all your plants recover come Spring/Summer.
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters, compared to what lies within us.

Thanks everyone, I'm not much on landscaping, and really do very little. You may have heard this before, the lattice is there to keep the armadillos from digging up everything.

This is the other side of the above photo
its covered with Jasmine.

beautiful, love the look of the lattice too. I like jasmine vine but I haven't found one hardy for here, and I'm not even sure I could tolerate the scent long term, allergic to everything Sad
