How about using a coco basket liner and put slits in it for the foliage?

I ended up using an Orchid basket and took a couple of cedar slats and tacked them on one end over the top. It's working great. The plant has grown roots all around now too so it's pretty firmly attached.
I like that fan cage idea tho. I'll definitely keep that in mind for a future project.

Here's a pic from about a month ago. It's grown alot this summer !
