I am so confused now as to what I have and what I do not have I just don't care. I love the fragrance and pray I have not lost the two that I thought are stars. I am afraid the cold got them and that is making me very sad. Will keep you all posted when I am sure what is what..... Rolling on the floor laughing

Hello! I am new to growing jasmine and I was hoping some of you experienced people may be able to help with a random question I have!

I bought seeds online for what I thought was jasmine sambac. I started growing four seeds simultaneously and they all sprouted and grew well. Eventually I gave one to my parents, who kept theirs indoors, and I kept my three jasmine outdoors on a west-facing patio. I live in NJ and currently the weather is 70s-80s daily.

My parents' jasmine recently started producing white buds.

However, mine is growing bright pink buds??

Can someone tell me why this is? And is this jasmine sambac or am I growing another species of jasmine entirely?

Thank you so much in advance!
