Thanks Kathy, I looked at that, but I don't think that is it.
I took some pictures today, but didn't do too well capturing plant AND buds in focus. But - the spike is in the process of opening.
It really looks to me very similar to my Dendrobium bigibbum v compactum, just even smaller and it has variegated leaves.
And I mounted the Cattleya walkeriana today ( 2 small plants)
I have to say I am placing Ten Shin Gardens on probation - I understand that vendors wrap their bare root plants in Sphagnum moss, so they don't dry out during lengthy transport. But - when I take that new Sphagnum off, I really really don't wish to see old crappy Sphagnum underneath, and after removal of that, I do not ever want to see mushy - roots. Not cool in my book!!!
