If you have a hard-to-find or favorite variety that you want more of, here’s how to propagate it easily.

Very good instructions, but... *Blush* ...I'm still gonna call 'em Geraniums....
I love the chamomile tea suggestion; will make good use of this idea.
Thanks Hurray!

Ha ha, Greene, and I only use the term geranium for actual hardy geraniums. These other guys are either pelargoniums or my favorite common name for them - blue-haired lady plants - coined by a fellow gardening friend who propagates them on a large scale.

Edited to add: I was fortunate to receive a number of Springcolor's pelargonium starts last spring and they all had wonderful variation to the foliage, along with cheery blooms (thanks, Julia).
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

I took cuttings of my scented geraniums as well as re-potted the original plants after cutting back the stems and roots. they seemed to do well for about a month, then deteriorated...gone. I'm sure I over watered. So next year I will definitely try this!

Janice more than likely that's what happened, they do like it dry or you get black mold at the base, then they are goners.
