Update.
I removed the 3 pots containing the growing plants from their little 'greenhouse'. Two days later I was surprised to see a straggler trying to raise up from the vermiculite. He's a slow seed but I keep cheering him on. Today I can just barely see the leaves starting to unfurl.

In total that is 6 seeds from batch #2 that have germinated for me; the other batches are zero.

That's a lot of Sweet Shrubs greene! Hurray!
I have not looked at my wintersown containers lately, but today I noticed a second seed has germinated in my original container. I need to get the seedling potted on so that it can grow. I'm afraid I've held it back by letting it stay in this one too long.

Greene, I had them in the refrigerator from 1-29 till 3-4. I then soaked them in hot water over night and planted the 6 that were not floating. It was the Michael Lindsey seeds. I had them under grow lights till it warmed up outside and have them sitting on the patio now, in a mixture of sun and shade. They are kept moist. Planted in cups full of miracle gro potting soil. I did not nick them.

I still have some seeds from a unnamed #2 that are in the refrigerator. Not sure when i will start those, but I will definitely nick them first.

Sounds like you did what was recommended. I'm guessing you didn't nick 'em. (?)
So far my seeds for the Michael Lindsey have not germinated.
Good luck with the #2 seeds.

I have one large one of #2 growing like a weed and I need to repot it now. I have one from #3 sprouting but doing nothing else....I did not nick mine and I am sure that is the secret because those seeds are very hard and I had to help the first one out of the pod so the leaves could grow. I need to make a note of the importance of the "nicking". I wonder if we could dig up the other seeds and nick them now? HMMMM.

Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! ME TOO! Here is Michael Lindsey (2 of them so far) I took the tops off of them and put them up where the chickens could not get to them.

Here is my first baby...getting big leaves for sure.

Nothing happening to #2 yet. Could not find the seeds to cut them so I just left them go. I was afraid I would do more harm than good.

One of the little plants doesn't look happy, so I may lose that one which leaves 7 happy little Batch #2 plants.
