I love the look of lilies planted between roses. The blooms complement each other when occurring at the same time or just give you extra color if blooming separately.
Your pictures are gorgeous as always. This is a brilliant idea, planting lilies amongst the roses. I have some lilies in pots, and now I know where I'm going to plant them. I have quite a bit if room in my front rose garden, so I'm going to plant the lilies there when the weather warms up.
I don't dare plant lilies in the ground because the gophers would find them right away, but you have inspired me to place my lily containers between the roses, Rita.
