Lynn, I love this article and can truly appreciate it this year. Everyday I check on all my babies to see the changes. Just yesterday I was so amazed at how quickly each one is presently changing. It's a wonderful day when you walk outside and woooo and ahhhhhh your way through your plants. Smiling Thank you Lynn for introducing me to this magical world of semps. I'm loving every second of it. Lovey dubby

Oh my Linda. Just look at the change in just one month. And that is one of your newly acquired plants isn't it. I find the yellow center surrounded by the red splashes fascinating.
What does it measure across? It looks like one of the medium to small varieties. Size is so hard to tell from photos.

Thank you so much for sharing the comparison photos, they are lovely. I may have to add that one to my collection. Lovey dubby

It's 2" across on the largest one. I was so fascinated with the yellow center. As you know, when you purchase them, you really don't know exactly what they will look like at certain times. You know I'll share with you! Lovey dubby Group hug

Yup, but its slowly melting. Some places bare ground is showing, but then we still have 2' drifts in some areas of our yard. But Spring is coming! Hurray!

Oh Chris....I wanted to post a pic of one of the planters I bought from you. During the summer when I received it, it was all green. Look at it now. I did remove a few semps from it. Whistling

Soon it will be a mat of lovely semps.

Chris's hypertufa pots are a great way to grow semps in containers. Semps and sedum love growing in this type of container. I think it makes them think they are back in their homeland. Smiling
I think she will have more of them for sale when her spring and summer arrive. Here is a link to how she makes them.http://cubits.org/sedumandsempervivum/articles/view/162/
If making them is not your thing but you would like to own one, contact Chris to see what hypertufa containers she might have available. http://cubits.org/users/mail/n...

Thank you Lynn! I think that if you're interested in making one, give it a try - they're not as hard as it might appear and it's a fun project! But beware, its another one of those addicting hobbies. Big Grin

Hi Lynn, the link to Chris's article about the hypertufa above doesn't work - I tried to find the right place but got an error message. Can you re-post that?
