Does Alocasia x amazonica want a dormant period? All the leaves on mine are dying with no new growth that I can see! This happened last year as well.

Anne if they get a little too cool it can pop them into dormancy. If they do, I just set them off to the side of the greenhouse, then when the weather warms up I put them outside and they come up when they are ready. Some one here may have better advice. Mine has gone dormant the last couple of years but this year doesn't seem to be showing signs of it.....yet..... Whistling

Thanks MJ .. I feel better now. My A micholitziana Frydek apparently doesn't like cold feet either.

LOl..yup I have that one too, it's sulking a bit, but hasn't disappeared.
