Looks great Drew. Are you doing any pollen daubing on this one? Is that a variegated cataphyll in the background?

Yabbut, I want to know how big that 'giganteum' flower is. Drew, could you put your finger, or a coin or something in the picture for size ref?

The var. inflorescence is roughly half the size of the regular giganteum. Regular dimensions are:

17" long, from the top to the entrance to the stem; 3'' wide at the 'bulb' of the Spathe and 11'', from the top of the Spathe to the bottom of the 'bulb'.

Drew, I was reading through the CATE description for giganteum and it notes
Blade coriaceous, broadly cordate-ovate, 50-80 cm long, 40-60 cm wide...
http://araceae.e-monocot.org/taxonomy/term/1888/descriptions
Leaf size sound about right?

Yessir! I would think larger than that in the wild Evan... Maybe 42''-46'' in length 28-32'' wide.

Thanks Drew. I think it would be helpful if these original descriptions were supplemented with additional observations more frequently.
