I have a plant and its tag from Annies Annuals. The tag and website match to Ursinia anthemoides 'Solor Fire'. If I search the web these two seem to be intertwined in a way that leads me to conclude they are the same plant? I don't know if its a synonym or a typo.

Mine came from Annie's too, and I didn't even notice the difference in species when I posted my photos. I've corrected the species to read "anthemoides" because I'm sure it was entered incorrectly before. Thanks for catching that, Leslie. Smiling

Ursinia Anthemoides is the latin name and the common name is Solar fire, Solar fire daisy or just Ursinia. Not common in the USA, but popular in South Africa where it is endemic.

A very cute flower and a spiffy color. Caught my eye as I thought that it was a variety of Gazania. Nope.

I have been collecting seeds from South Africa and recently purchased this on Bid or Buy.
