This baby lizard is so tiny that I thought it was a cricket when it moved.

I took the image with my cell phone so to see if you'll have to click to enlarge and then look at the block where the mortar forms the "T". He is in the mortar area on the left side of the T. I couldn't stick this in my paint program or I'd circle him. If any of you can do that, feel free!

He is behind the Bower Vine leaves...just showing his tail and part of his body.

Must have just hatched out, it sure isn't very big. Hope he makes it. I have them in my Hydragea, I guess they are getting tiny bugs for their tiny bodies....so cute..

I set it free. I was afraid if it rained he would drown. I've seen them drowned before. I can't stand it. they are so pretty and shy.

wow! Alan, those little nocturnal lizards that hang on your windows and eat bugs at night are Mediterranean geckoes. They're introduced and seem to love our climate, especially if you have some greenery around. I lov e the heck out of them, but when we moved, I didn't see them as much. Made me sad until I realized that DUH- the screens here are on the insides due to having casement windows! They're out there, I just don't see them as much from indoors!

Where do you guys have skinks and green anoles wandering around wild??
