He came in those colors. I wouldn't think it would be difficult to change to any color desired if you get the right paint.

That looks wonderful, Kim! With those semps snugged together like that it looks like you have been growing it for a while.

I agree
You would never know it was a first try, it is wonderful Kim. I really like the way you did different levels, then have it spilling out from the bottom portion. Lots of eye appeal.

Container planting consisting of wonderfully plum colored semperviums that I purchased at Lowe's in Oregon in May. They came in a brim filled 6 pack but I think they were mis-labeled so had to ID them as Noids.

Bev that container is a thing of beauty. Awesome.

Wow Jo Ann, I thought your containers were about done for this growing season? That group photo is looking wonderful.
Interesting photo of buds from Sedum 'Blue Spruce'. Love the cloud of S. lineare blanketing the trunk of the coleus.

@Kim you did a beautiful job. It does not look like a first try for sure. You made me want to do a idea borrow.

@Bev beautiful I wish my nursery had nice semps they have little pots but nothing as pretty as your plant. It does not need a name pretty suits it just fine.

@JoAnne beautiful as usual. You are my summer patio pot muse. I love Graptopetalum I think it was in the box of cuttings that trav sent me. It has become one of my favorites. It wintered well indoors and makes babies easy from a leaf.

Question have you been able to winter Sedum Lineare outdoors? I had it a couple years ago in a winter hardy pot a couple years ago and it lived for 2 yrs but struggled died the 3rd yr. I tried it in he ground and it did not come back at all years ago. I am going to try it in a different spot this year and bring some inside this winter because it is a evergreen I think I may be able to keep it alive with my tender succulents.

I put it in this pot that I have to bring in because this pot is would not survive winter. I picked up a lot of succulent that I know are have not been hardy for my area on sale and put them all in this pot.

There is a ice plant that bloomed early in the season, Sedum Lineare, Purslane and Portulaca.

What a colorful display from your planting, Cinta! Lovey dubby I'm also having to think about upcoming winter for my tenders and I am only in zone 9b. Last year I had enough tenders looking quite unhappy such that I broke down and dragged all my containers indoors. I usually don't keep much plants indoors. This year I am going to try and situate my planted containers differently outdoors so that I don't have to drag them in... Angry

Beautiful, and so colorful Cinta. I love it. What a wonderful combination.
I may have to add some Portulaca to my elephant container next year. Thank you for the idea. I might even move it to the front porch next summer.

Thank you Bev, Lynn......I think I posted that pic before. In the Spring the Ice plant bloomed. I hope it will bloom more next year. If I can keep the other plants alive through the winter it might be a good succulent pot and look good early in the season next year.

I cannot believe the growth. This is all I put in the pot. Nothing was added to get to what it is above. It looked almost empty. Rolling on the floor laughing

Impressive growth in such a short period of time. Definitely worth trying to keep it going over the winter. Keep us posted on the winter progress.
