Don't have a pic. I can get one but I'd have to dig it up and I don't think it likes that.
It's cocoon-like, 2 inches long, brown, doesn't have a face and wiggles it's tailend. It was under some wet, loose sand-dirt. If it's a cucaracha I'll kill it, of course.

Friend or foe? Or just another critter. After I accidentally dug it up I watched it for a minute. The sun fell on it's lower extremity and it wiggled. I figured it didn't like to be exposed so I lightly buried it. I'll check Goog for into. Don't know if I've ever seen one.
