Anyone know if Angel Trumpet would make a good biomass accumulator? It grows like crazy in Central Florida and I've propagated all I need. Seems like it would be good for chop and drop but I don't want to have my worms hallucinate or have some other unintended consequence.

Any advice my wise friends? Many thanks.

Don't know about them much myself, although we had them in SoCal with no ill effects. I did find this comment on GW:

Can't tell you for sure, but I do know that whenever I plant a brug in the ground, it peters out and dies from nematode infestation. So the poisonous component doesn't affect the nematodes.

I also put any fallen leaves and flowers back on top of the soil under the brug plants. Slugs and snails eat them with no apparent ill effects. I had a green caterpillar last year that was feasting on a few leaves.
