I know you have mentioned your mail order sources on here. I did a quick search and come up with 100's of "Pot" related posts. I thought it would be easier to ask again. I am looking for 10 or more large (15"?) plastic hanging pots for my ferns. I have both Boston fern and Fishtail fern (my avatar) that need repotting badly. They are pot bound. I would rather have 10 big plants than separate them and have 20 smaller pots. Any help you can give me to find a good deal would be appreciated. TIA

I have purchased gallon size pots from Plasticflowerpost.net. They have hanging basket but the largest I see is 12".

This site's hanging pots only go up to 12".
But they do sell wire hangers so you could probably hang something bigger.

Griowers' Solutions hanging baskets only go up to 12"

Greenhouse Megastore : I looked at several of these and only saw 12" and smaller.

Even their hangers only advertise up to 12"!

I wonder if a 16" pot slipped and fell on someone who sued someone, and now no one will sell them?

Maybe a botanical garden could tell you where they buy theirs. Or a local extension service or Master Gardeners' phone line would know someone with huge hanges, and THEY could suggest a source.

I'm starting to think that you may have to make your own. Make it strong!

Home Depot has some larger diameter hanging wire pots with the coir liners; just not sure if they're deep enough.

If you belong to a local Garden Club, just have them post it in their newsletter, or ask if people could contact you if they have any. I am the president of one of our local garden clubs, and I asked members to bring in the smaller plastic pots so I could pot up plants I have to share (for our Plant Table). I have enough pots now for many dozens of future plants.
