The daylily beds are looking good here on Faraway Farm. The fans in this picture are 4 fans of Spacecoast Pumpkin Power on the right, and several of Autumn Valentine on the left.

SPC Pumpkin Power made a spectacular display for us last year.

The plants show some signs of our January/February weather, when temps dipped to the 25/26 range a couple of times. But, being evergreen, they pretty much kept on growing.

The brownish mulch is grass clippings. We live on ten acres, and I mow three of them. One weekly mowing fills the bagger on my John Deere D100 many times over, and I usually have more mulch than I know what to do with.

Looking good!

I can't even see ground yet...parts of the yard are still under a foot of compacted snow/ice/glacier. Glare

Lucky you. We still have snow covering everything here. But I am hearing rumors of 30's and low 40's soon.... After we get another couple of inches of snow tonight....

My DLs all survived the winter and are popping up. Most are 2-3" up and one is taller.
