This plant came with a tag saying it was Danish Ivy, which I can not find.
Does anyone recognize the plant and know the proper Latin name?

It appears to be Cissus rhombifolia or a cultivar of that.

The grape ivy was the only houseplant my mother grew. With three active children in the house, she decided to keep it perched on the newel post. The plant is fairly indestructible as ours spent more time on the living room floor than on its intended perch.

I love this plant. I need to find one for the house here and get it going.

One thing I remember from my (clumsy) youth is that mom tried to root this in water and failed. Then a neighbor told her to wrap the rooting glass with aluminum foil to exclude light. It worked.
