I just whip out my insect net that I got at the dollar tree, snatch em up and let them go outside away from the greenhouse.

They set up housekeeping INSIDE my greenhouse. It's wood framed and wood attracts them. And there are lots of nooks and crannies for them to hide in. A spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol will kill them off nicely...IF you can find the nest.

They do that in my greenhouse too - always in the same place .. I just get my can of raid, make sure I have a clear path out the door, find the nest then spray and run like crazy. After an hour or so I'll go back in knock down the nest.

You are lucky you can find the nests to knock them down. If I had known then what I know now, I would have spent more and gotten a greenhouse made from steel and glass instead of this thing of wood and corrugated plastic. Seriously, tho, rubbing alcohol will kill wasps every bit as well as nastier chemicals, but you have to really soak them down with it. Nice thing about it, too, is that when one shows up in the house, as they inevitably do, you can soak them down in a window and not have any nasty residue (well, other than the dead bug, ugh) to deal with.

I had a friend over the other day. He relayed a story of when he was at his home with his young daughter and some of her friends.

A wasp flew across the room and he held his hand out with his index finger extended. The wasp lighted on his finger, and he took it outside. The kids though it was magic! Big Grin

A kinder, gentler soul than I, obviously.
I don't concern myself with them when they're outdoors, but when they invade my space, all bets are off. Heh, and somehow I just don't get the feeling that they're an endangered species.
