Is this not a Polystichum acrostichoides?

Someone has questioned the identity of the Christmas Fern photos posted by Pirl in this entry:

Christmas Fern (Polystichum acrostichoides)

There are several photos, including some nice ones showing the plant emerging from dormancy. I'd rather keep them in the database than delete them, so I hope someone can come up with a more accurate ID.

Just a guess.

Looks good to me, Woofie, but I know nothing about ferns. Can anyone else confirm this guess?

In the absence of any agreement or disagreement, I've moved the images to the generic Polystichum entry.

Sorry, I figured someone would just.... know (unlike me).
But you're right Zuzu, Christmas fern is one-pinnate. Not at all like Pirl's pic.

That would be great! I'm in the market for ferns and pirls is very nice. Assuming if would tolerate our winters. Rolling my eyes.
