Very nice list of plants I can just picture them all in my mind. Many of my favs in that list sure wish they would over winter in my Zone 6 but alas that isn't going to happen.

Yes, where the ground freezes, that's a whole different ball'o'wax. I can't vouch for the hardiness of any of these below Z8b.

I have a really cute mini ivy that I left outside and wasn't sure if it was hardy. I had meant to bring it in and forgot it. Looks really good so far so I expect it to be just fine come spring.

This teeny Haworthia is making a tiny bloom stalk, only about 3" tall. The plant is not much bigger around than a quarter. Been outside since spring '13.

So cute. I have new growth on some of my plants as well. Too early to tell what all will be coming back but there is a good start in many of the containers.

This one has wintered over quite well and the plants have multiplied so I tore it apart and divided up the little beauties to take to a plant swap next weekend. Then I added a Baby Booties dwarf hosta. I would like to get another small plant for this pot. Another dwarf heuchera or fern will have to keep my eyes open for something else to add to this pot.

I was so excited to see that several dwarf perennials that were left to overwinter in their 3in nursery pots did very well. Not sure when I will get them properly potted up. These plants were setting on a shelf in the potting area several 3 - 4 in pots in a tray.
Dwarf Meadow Rue and an adorable dwarf Astilbe. I haven't seen either of these bloom yet as there were purchased late last summer so I am very excited to see what they look like especially the Astilbe. There were several pots of dwarf hosta that also did very well overwintering in 4 in pots in that tray.

Good question, Chantell. Are you asking about a pic from Apr 29, 2014 10:31 AM CDT? If so, @gardengus Cinda, is it an Abutilon (flowering maple?)

That may be a Pelargonium (sold as annual Geranium.) Cinda will probably let us know when she gets a chance.
