Margaret MOST of the snow we had this year is gone! The bird bath stand, the little trellis and most of the yellow chairs were completely covered. The snow was about 5 feet deep in my backyard this winter!
Today is a cold 15 degrees, we still have a lot of snow on the ground some areas are finally showing ground. There is still to much snow to be able to take a walk in the garden, I don't want to walk in snow banks.
If you want to be happy for a lifetime plant a garden!
Faith is the postage stamp on our prayers!

It was 64 when I left work today @ 5pm But it's supposed to get cold again mid-week . I did a quick walk around the yard and it looks like everything is ok so far. Even things in pots. However I did find that the deer have been busy, pulling up or kicking my markers in the front yard and they appear to have nibbled and dug around my Candle Power right in front of the front porch
So me being me, I quite loudly told them they were only allowed to eat the ones in the bed down by the road that I planted for them
I also had a loud discussion with Mr Bunny about not eating my daylilies, or I would set Miss PJ loose on them.
This is Miss PJ, she misses muching on wildlife since she moved indoors.
My neighbors already thought I was nuts, now they are convinced of it.
Fingers crossed this works.
It's my cats world, I'm just here to open the cans.
The worst thing in my mind about these dragged out colder temps in my area is that it means spring will be VERY short. The summer heat will get here on time...it always does. It's the spring season that gets cut short. Can make for a rough year for some plants, no doubt.
