I finally have about to open blooms on one of my Adeniums. I have had trouble knowing how to care for these as I am used to watering things like crazy. I have had these drop leaves in the winter while inside and when I watered one of them too much in the past the base got mushy and all the roots rotted. Sad I stopped watering that one and sat it on the patio and ignored it and it came back ! No buds like the other one yet but it is putting on new leaves. Big Grin

Hetty I seem to be having a senior moment.Would you please explain that?In other words, why would she not see it if she reads the forum?

I'm getting confused, but that happens easily!

First, get well quick, Doris!

And then, Linda,/quietyard, sorry about your over watering experience, but I am very happy to hear the plant healed itself. They are tough and we do try so hard with them...

Here's a clump of bloomers, not many flowers for so many plants! The taller one I've named Sad Sack, it's always droopy.

Doris, I hope you are home to lots of blooms soon.

I kind of like that sad sack Melissa, is it one of the ones you bred? The others are pretty too, like apple blossoms.

I am a hobbiest, and keep terrible records. I have plants blooming from seeds I've bought, been given, and have pollinated myself. I have no idea which are which. BAD me! I'll post a few more photos soonish...

Hi everybody...it's been a while since I visited the forums.

I couldn't tend to my plants much last year. I'm grateful for the ones that survived the neglect. Long story.

This double flower actually bloomed yesterday although it's been out of a pot for about two months.

This one I got from Mike about two years ago. Bloomed for the first time in early April.

This one I got from one of my favorite places, Bah's Nursery. I don't think it cost me more than $10. Imagine my surprise when it bloomed two different types of flowers! Bloomed for me for the first time this year as well.

As I'm slowly getting my gardening groove back, I'm so grateful I didn't lose that many plants.

Happy Monday everybody.
