I have no clue what this mysterious beauty could be.
I found it only twice during my frequent trips in the forest, growing in deep shade in the leaf litter.
The plants were rather small, no bloom unfortunately.
The dark green leaves have a velvety touch and have glittering silver irregular vein drawings that aren't actually true veins.
Location: rainforest, Paraty, Rio de Janeiro state.

Goodyera hispida certainly looks very close Lin, apart from the paler section in the middle of the leaf which mine doesn't have, the only problem is that the genus doesn't occur in Brazil according to the 'Flora do Brasil'

Give the genus Anoectochilus a look. They are found in Brazil and are among the Jewel Orchids. Many of them have shiny metallic threads(veins) running through the leaves.
Anoectochilus really brings us on the right genus track, Jean!
I searched on the 'Flora do Brasil' It said none of the genus occurs in Rio de Janeiro state but when I searched for the whole of Brazil it came with two species: http://floradobrasil.jbrj.gov....
Anoectochilus argenteus and Anoectochilus pictus.
I feel sure it is Anoectochilus argenteus!
I think plants often don't know they shouldn't occur in another state than mentioned in the Flora do Brasil..
I took a look at the synonyms....oh my.... As for it not showing up in Rio de Janeiro state...I agree....they did not tell the plant it couldn't be there...

I looked it up again in the Flora do Brasil, and now I see I've looked to hastily and didn't read further! It says on top: 'No records found' above

The page you get is what I originally had in my favourites, choose Angiosperms in the Group tab, and Orchidaceae in Family then click search. It was on page 3 for me.
