This is a thread created to introduce you to a rather small, compact, extraordinary garden in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I wasn't clear on where to post this but thought "Photos" couldn't be wrong.
I have a couple of friends who live there. I visited last week. Weather was warm and tropical. Home gardens were absolutely gorgeous and lush. Green everywhere. Crape Myrtle in all sizes and colors EVERYWHERE.

Linnaeus Garden is a Teaching Garden. Free though donations are more than welcome. I was hosted by a volunteer (my friend Cathey's mother) who is a wonderful gardener. Linnaeus is a testing ground for Proven Winners and other growers/suppliers. The volunteers care for the various/plentiful variety of plants and the entire property. One cool thing is that eventually they MAY get the opportunity to take the plants to their own home gardens.
While I was there, July 8-12 the weather was scattered clouds, rain, thunder, tropical and humid but manageable.
I have lots of pics here to share.
Linnaeus, a Swede, is considered the "Father of Botany".
