Incorporating Daylilies with Other Plants

In my short period of gardening I have come to love daylilies, but I like them mixed in with other plants.

I planted yellow bush daisies next to my daylilies and couldn't be more pleased with the way it looks!! The small yellow daisies will look nice whenever the daylilies decide to bloom. I think we have a good chance they will bloom, too. They look really good since separating them 3 weeks ago! I bumped into a few dozen licoris that will accent the daisies in the fall long after the daylilies stop blooming. I will keep the bushes low and compact so that the daylilies will not be upstaged. Thanks for this wonderful idea @Seedfork

It's so funny to see you all talking about having things for "after" the daylilies!

Here, they mostly bloom late and there isn't much time after.
