Here are my two "baby" seedlings, germinated in late December, 2014. One has five leaves and one has seven leafs and they are approximately 6-8" tall. The seven-leaf one germinated about a week before the five leaf one.

They are looking good; I recommend a larger pot at this point. They love to grow when given the space.

OK, what size, Hetty? They are in 4" clay pots. Thanks.

I'd get them in a 3 gal plastic - or in the ground!

I would be the last to give you advice, Sandy. These are the first I have ever germinated and am still accumulating advice on the best way to germinate the others that I have. I plan on germinating half next month and the other half in June. I perhaps have 20-30 seeds, and they are 5 different varieties. Right now my thinking is to germinate them in 2-3 completely different ways, ways that were successful for others. I will be glad to give you my results if you like. Just send me a Tree-Mail or email me directly at drdawg97@gmail.com so that I will have a reminder.
