I've had problems with the fronds getting burned with the summer sun. Last year my DH built a shade structure to go over the palm, but this summer (since it's grown and is about three and a half feet tall) we trying deep soaking. Some burning so far, but not terrible. Guess we'll wait and see how this method works! How's yours looking Dan and Eileen?
